A properly installed bitumen roof is essential for the watertight and durable protection of a building. In the Vivaldipark in Hilversum, we recently completely covered a complex roof with a new layer of bitumen roofing.
The situation before the work
The roof was technically challenging due to the many angles, roof domes, and ventilation penetrations. The existing roofing no longer met the requirements and posed a risk of leaks and wear, particularly around the vulnerable details.
Our approach
Our team carefully prepared the roof and subsequently applied a new bitumen roofing layer over the entire surface. Due to the complexity of the roof, we paid extra attention to all details, such as the connections at roof domes and ventilation penetrations.
Additionally, the sides are reinforced on both sides with edge strips for extra strength and a durable finish.
