In Amstelveen, we completely renovated a flat roof of approximately 125 m² and made it fully watertight again. The unique aspect of this project was that there were solar panels on the roof. We first carefully removed them so that we could address the entire roof covering.
The old roofing was due for replacement and no longer held back water effectively. We completely stripped the roof down to the substrate. We then applied two new layers of bitumen. This 2-layer system ensures a strong, seamless finish that remains watertight for years.
Once the new roofing was in place, we neatly reinstalled the solar panels. The residents now have a roof that no longer leaks and panels that are generating electricity again as usual, without any worries for the coming years.
A flat roof with solar panels requires craftsmanship. The panels must be removed and reinstalled without damage, and the covering underneath must be perfect down to the last detail. We took care of this from start to finish in Amstelveen.
